Heart Hive Presents: Ecstatic Dance [ GENEROSITY ]

Join us in another magical journey! 

This month we will dance with the spirit of Giving. Connect with your ability to give PRESENCE to yourself and to your community. 

We sold out at the last dance so please get your tickets in advance!

 Heart Hive will be donating 10% of ticket sales to the Cash For Refugees fundraiser for Ukraine (more info below). Please consider contributing to the fundraiser as well (an option when purchasing tickets).

 Open and welcome all - all ages, races, cultures, backgrounds, orientations, LGBTQIA+. We aim to create a family-friendly community where everyone can dance and express themselves freely. We share and empower each other to practice consent, mindfulness and awareness to create as safe a space as possible.

ENERGY EXCHANGE  Sliding Scale: $15-$45 (10% donated by Heart Hive to Cash for Refugees) Recommended $30 **$30-$45 at door** (Children 5 and under dance for free) Register in advance to secure your spot. Capacity is 65, so we will likely sell out or have limited tickets available at the door:

VOLUNTEER CREW Connect with the team at the dance or email hellohearthive@gmail.com to learn more about volunteer work exchange opportunities for before, during, and after dances. This is a great way to make deeper connections and weave into the fabric of our dance family.

 COVID PRECAUTIONS  ~ DO NOT attend if you’re experiencing any COVID-19 like symptoms (headache, nausea, fever etc.) or have had any recent exposure. ~ Masks are welcome, not required ~ Please take care of yourself and connect with others at your and their comfort level

 DIRECTIONS & TRANSPORTATION  Address: Canal Studio, 650 E Kendall St, Cambridge as part of the Dance Complex.

 We encourage you to walk, bike and take the T. It's a short walk from the Kendall / MIT Red Line T stop. Free, on-street parking on Sundays. (Give yourself some extra time to find a spot as parking can be harder to find in this area.)

Cash For Refugees Fundraiser

Ukraine has been under attack for nine months, and the worst is yet to come, winter temperatures without electricity for many families.

You can make a difference! 

If you are able to, please donate any amount because it will go a long way. CFR is an organization that is providing real help to real people with team number 16 on the way in November.

Cash for Refugees is a nonprofit MA-based organization that delivers cash directly to the most vulnerable populations that are displaced from regions of Ukraine that are under attack. They are also currently helping families that have lost electricity.

Their mission: “We give unexpected financial support to refugees to help them restore some sense of hope and agency. Founded by refugees, for refugees, we give cash directly to people displaced by the war in Ukraine. We focus on the most vulnerable: women with children, the elderly, and the disabled. We work with no bureaucracy and minimal overhead. We envision inspiring a global movement of pay-it-forward good surprises.”
